Couriers..how much? UK?
You know the type who deliver/collect your catalogue parcels, book packages etc. How much do they earn? It’s working for TNT I believe, but you’re self employed and do deliveries/collections for various different mail order companies.
My friend tried this for a couple of weeks.
She was paid per parcel delivered. I helped her and on the first week we worked 22 hours delivered about 55 parcels and covered approx 80 miles in her car.
She was paid £56.00.
Hence the reason why she only did it for 2 weeks.
As far as I am aware you get paid per parcel delivered. But bare in mind that people aren’t always in and you have to try 2 sometimes 3 times to deliver at different times of the day.

Also starring Frank Gorshin (from the original Batman) and Vincent Pastore (from The Sopranos). Mail Order Bride premiered at the 2003 American Film Market. ~ Andrea LeVasseur, Rovi |

Mail Order Bride (DVD) $19.95 The West is a mighty perilous place. A man needs a good horse, a trusty shootin’-iron and steady nerve. And one more thing, according to aging cowpoke Will Lane (Buddy Ebsen): a bride. Director Burt Kennedy lassos plenty of laughs as well as action in Mail Order Bride, much as he’d do later in the memorable comic westerns Support Your Local Sheriff and Support Your Local Gunfighter. The story follows Lane as he plays dad to his dead friend’s rowdy son Lee (Keir Dullea). Via a mail-order catalogue, he finds the young man a widow (Lois Nettleton) with a little boy. Lee prefers raising hell to raising a family. But a whirlwind of Wild West action may force Lee to grow up – and appreciate the gentle heart of his new bride. |

Mail Order Wife $7.94 A movie maker unwittingly gets a bit too involved with his subjects in this darkly comic mockumentary. Andrew (Andrew Gurland) is a documentary filmmaker who wants to make a picture about modern-day mail order marriage. Andrew thinks he’s found the perfect subject for his film when he meets Adrian (Adrian Martinez), a stocky snake enthusiast from Queens, NY, who earns his living as a doorman and has never had much luck with women. Adrian wants choose a bride from a professional marriage broker’s agency called Paradise Girls, and Andrew agrees to foot the bill in exchange for the rights to make a movie about him. Adrian soon weds Lichi (Eugenia Yuan), an attractive Burmese woman, but Andrew is less than pleased to discover what Adrian really wants from his relationship is a woman who will feed mice to his pet python, make chili just the way he likes it, and keep the house spotless while occasionally indulging some of his odder sexual fantasies. Lichi isn’t happy either, and at Andrew’s urging she leaves Adrian and moves into Andrew’s apartment until she decides what to do next. Andrew falls for Lichi, and before long he asks for her hand in marriage; however, her relationship with Adrian has stripped Lichi of her illusions, and she becomes a very demanding bride who loudly speaks her mind and has accumulated a large and expensive collection of pig-related nick knacks. ~ Mark Deming, Rovi |
